the melodramatic mouse is now mellomom

21 May 2009Today marks 40 days since we celebrated Easter. 40 days — plus 6 Sundays — before that, we walked a Lenten journey with our Lord in preparation for His Passion. And long ago, the Israelite walked for 40 years in search of their promised land…
Today, besides it being 40 days later from Jesus’ triumphant conquer over death and glorified resurrection, we celebrate His ascension into heaven. And He is now seated at the right hand of our Father, with all things under His authority (Ephesians 1:22). You and me, all things equal.
I am blessed to be called His. Although He seems far beyond reach, blessed are we who have not seen but yet believe (John 20:29).
“This Jesus who has been taken up from you [us] into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven.”
Acts 1:11
Faith is an outward sign of an inward grace. I believe, do you?
