the melodramatic mouse is now mellomom
I am so excited! Can you feel it too? Next Sunday is almost here, and it’s been almost a month long wait. Can’t say that I don’t feel afraid as well, it’s been such a long time since I had a puppy.
Back then we didn’t have guidebooks or easy internet access on how to raise a puppy, or even understanding the dog psychology. So it’s not surprising that many people got it all wrong. And still do!
Dog lives in the moment and is an animal of habits. Don’t bother punishing him if you found his mess, because he won’t remember – unless caught in the act. There’s so much more to learn!
The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan Guide:
- I am the pack leader! *woof*
- Dog needs exercise, discipline and affection (exactly this order)
- I must set rules, boundaries and limitations
- Nose, Eyes and Ears – they smell first, see second and hear last
- Dogs are not human *duh*
Fingers crossed that I am all set to be a good parent to my furkid. If I can’t be one to my dog, how else can I be to my child. Make any sense? *winks*
