a month ago i discerned about changing the name of my anonymous blog to something more me. it’s obvious that till today the name unattended still occupies this space indefinitely. i’m also thinking of renovating this place with a little help from ben. which i’m sure it’ll be next year given our busy 2007. so i shall be putting this thought into my pending list for now. don’t expect to see any miracles.

welcome to mi casa. this is my very naked and soon to be home sweet home. i like everything about it. my only complain would be the opposite construction. being only on the tenth floor means we’ll get a great view of somebody else’s unit. and vice versa. this is the problem with staying in a condo – the chances of some other condo built opposite yours is inescapable. so thank you to wooden blinds!

last saturday we had our share of an amazing race with a dose of fear factor. being in the organising committee means i get to do all the gory details minus the actually gulping. it took us one month to plan this one day race. and two days for me to decorate 50 frames! being a first for the six of us, i can say that we did a pretty good job despite the unforeseen hiccups on the day itself. syabas!

this year we had a record breaking of 147 contestants running headless across kl. i bet next year the number would double up so we’ll need more manpower as station master at all pit stops. my station at central market open car park was beyond control. i must salute the groups that devoured the gross blended concoction. and not forgetting for those that chewed the pig organs (double yucks!) i’m so glad that i’m on the other side of the fence lol.

all in all, the amazingly fearless race four was a success in itself. i’m not sure if i’m up for AFR 2008, but i know you won’t catch me running in it. after being behind the scene, i bet my money on it that next year’s won’t just be about blended concoctions, diving into the pool and biting eels. it’ll be far more challenging and adrenalin pumping. ode to johnny our chairman!
