I must confess that I am guilty this time. Because I only did my research yesterday morning but I’ve already made the purchase the night before *blush*

But you cannot blame me ok. Just look at the Ringgits I’ve saved and it is brand new! I simply couldn’t resist the temptation and the clock was ticking. So I had to act quickly before someone else snags the bargain *kiasu excuse**LOL*

Why did I choose a 2-Shoulder Harness Front Carrier?

1) Due to lousy weak heels, I would prefer to have LBJ’s weight spread evenly over both shoulders. This way I can carry him longer without complains as he grows.

2) A harness type carrier is more secured compared to a single cloth sling, wrap or fitted pouch.

3) Durability.

Why BabyBjörn Baby Carrier?

Advantages
1) Spreads weight evenly over both shoulders, holds baby still and snug against our chest, baby can face in or out and it is adjustable for multiple users.

2) Good for doing housework where I may have to bend. A sling will be dangling all over the place, unless wrapped higher to the chest.

3) Most importantly, in the later days when LBJ gets heavier — above 5kg — I can retire this entirely to the husband. Obviously he would be the one wearing LBJ rather than me when we go out *cunning laughter*

4) It is Made in Sweden and not China. Unlike Ikea *umph*

Disadvantages
1) Baby can’t recline and if he’s not old enough to face out, the only option is facing me.

2) Dangling legs can get in the way once he gets longer.

3) It can’t be used as a side or back carrier.

My reviews are pretty off hand. Until I get a hands on next year, I’ll just have to have faith with my decision now *fingers crossed*

Unless you can afford the luxury of having a few carriers for different usages, you’ll just have to weigh what works for you more than not and get it. You’ll never know until tried. What works for you, doesn’t necessarily works for someone else
