One of the perks of being a new mommy (again) is that we’re simply oozing with these love hormones for our newborns. The simplest of anything that these chubby darlings do would send us over the hills into gagaland.

My weakness would be for those tiny fingers. I just love how Eli’s stumpy little fingers twirl around my lone finger and hold on tight. Just like this photo, she was simply so happy holding my thumb and bursting into little toothless giggles with raspberry bubbles on the side. Such pure joy. Oxytoxin aside, how can anyone not go aww? ♥

It is really interesting how babies would grab hold of anything that’s placed within their grasp. At a day old, Eli’s hold was strong and firm around my pinky. Her nails were long and soft but nonetheless could leave little indents on my finger

As I’m typing this post — with my left thumb on the iphone — she is holding my right index finger and pinching my arm with her free hand. Talk about multi tasking and not sparing any minute in between *keke*

Wishing everyone a good week ahead. Can’t believe half a year has come and gone. My newborn is already 3 months! Where has the time gone? *sigh*
