Baby Hands with Mittens served in Amilase
About a month ago, Baby Natey found his hands and the latter soon found his mouth. Ever since then, it has been a daily dose of fist delicacy for him *yumyum*
According to my Mom, I grew up sans pacifier — yucky tasteless rubber — and never sucked a thumb in my life. So when Natey was spotted with this unbecoming pastime, it was easy to point the finger at Daddy *nyeknyek*
I changed 6 pairs of mittens yesterday. All soaked with saliva! How do you stop or “negotiate” with a 2monther Not to suck his thumb? Or the entire fist for that matter. 1 word — repeat after me with your cutest cooing voice — Nada.
So last night, I found a temporary solution — Bag the Little Critter! *LOL* Before you decide to brand me Bad Mommy, Natey totally enjoys it. He loves being swaddled, and now this is his new toy. He is a toy! ♥

Although this is just a Now effort, it is way better than giving him the pacifier. Which by the way, he also dislikes — half Mommy, half Daddy *eh*
Hopefully this phase of thumb/finger/fist sucking will soon pass. With babies being so smart these days, Natey will soon learn to copycat Mommy and unzip himself out

lol thanks sweetie. i’d like to stock up on blue… kinda got use to thinking blue. pray for blue, babe, blue….. and that the baby is healthy. so nervous.
yeah, finally got round to get the book today and it was the last copy at mph bangsar village. also got a copy of “skinny bitch bun in the oven”.
i’m vain, what to do?!
you can find references online, articles/ youtube. but a book or a chart may be more handy. with a goo-goo brain that i have now, i won’t remember most of the signs i browsed today. apparently some start as soon as newborn to 3 months onwards. i’d start at newborn if possible as it’ll take the child some weeks to master the first signs. thought i’d bring this up coz nate is already 2 months :p

wey, heheh cool solutions? but is he not angry being swaddled up like that? not sure wether Q would enjoy it. so far, we only tried to pull his fist everytime he wants to suck it. and he’s kinda on-off mittens for now. basah2 habis dia hisap. dengan bunyi chut chut chut lagi. hehehhe
how much is tht thing? is it big? wonder wether Q can fits in or not. btw, go find tht sign book at bookxcess amcorp mall. loads and loads and loads of baby book as well. darn cheap. I got the sign book for rm10. and his bedtime story books at rm5-rm8. soft clothes ke apa ke. semua ada lah!

Yup I saw your cry for help in your blog too. Seems most will suggest pacifier. What I am using there is a sleeping bag by Mothercare. Can get it at Brands Outlet in Ikano — half the price! Any other brand will do. Ikea also sells it.
I don’t quite like Amcorp Mall. Parking pun susah coz outdoor rite? I went there twice and I find the place quite messy. No doubt a lot of cheap bargains. Tengok how first this weekend cause not near to travel there

Hehehe, perhaps all babies are the same! Ewan discovered the joy of sucking his fingers lately; even woke up in the middle of the night to do it…and I thought I heard mice (chut chut chut sound)! He doesn’t like pacifier either…gets really upset if I give it to him as if accusing me of offering pirated nipple
