Trust me, I’ll do so much research (hopefully I could with LBJ around) that I could be the next Shishida tutor *LOL*

I won’t tell you that you’ll feel better soon, because I didn’t like it when others told me. Simply because the soon wasn’t soon enough. And when it took months to go away rather than the next day. But hang in there! Only mothers who went through the experience understands *hugs*

Yes we turned out ok. I never attended tuition classes!

Shishida classes is not the typical sit down class room thingy. It encourages the child to expore their learning skills… of teaching things like english/maths (left brain). But, the catch is you can ‘conduct” these classes on your own at home with your LBJ! Just do some research on activities that develops the right brain… intuition, sixth sense, gut feelings, learning thru observations, jig saw puzzles, matching to things ie t-shirt in closet, flower in garden, cow in farm…. etc. It’s difficult to explain in words but it’s not the typical classes. Just find out the techniques from the www. It can be done at home.

About my pregnancy… I get cold easily… sometimes refuses to shower when I get home as I always feel cold (whole day if office – aircond). I wear 4 layers of clothes to work… and have a blanket over my legs at work. Maybe I dont et enough… or if I do eat, food does not stay in my tummy… I am permanntly either nausea, heartburn, indigestion, hungry… I gag almost every hour and vomits t least 2 times a day…. I smell like minyak cap kapak as I use it to mask other smell (makes me want to gag) and I sleep with hot water bottle on my tummy and t-shirt + sweater and tiger balm on my tummy….

I am just trying to find the right food that stays in the tummy and keeps me warm without having to throw up in the next 6 hours….

I learnt to talk to my tummy also… telling the mini-me how I am feeling and tell him/her that s/he is a good baby…

Yup I am deciding between ISIS and Harmony now. Gonna go see the real thing and test it. Currently Harmony is in the lead!

Hey Ayu,
There’s nothing wrong with electric. Just that I won’t need it as much since I’ll be feeding LBJ exclusively at home. I decided on manual after getting some advice from other SAHM. If you’re going back to work, I recommend Ameda Lactaline cause it seems to have really good reviews from Malaysian Mommies

How’s your pregnancy going so far? About the bottles, we’ll have to see if it’s Avent or Medela that we’re getting. It’s better to stick to same brands.

About Shishida, I’m very sure we cannot afford it now. But it’s good to KIV for future! Sometimes I feel parents these days (no pun intended ok) are bombarding their kids with too much early educations that they have no chance to growing up slowly. Didn’t we turn out ok?

Thank you for dropping by! Having a baby is expensive these days, and with the internet, you can’t help but drown in the information to save that extra bucks
I’ve struck off the electric BP and going to check out both Avent ISIS & Medela Harmony. With the money saved from getting a manual, I can get other essentials for our little prince ♥

Hi Jaclyn! It looks like you are really doing your research. Good for you!

I just wanted to share my experience with you. I had a double electric breast pump with my firstborn daughter and used it only a few times. I actually ended up giving it to my little sister several months ago. My second daughter was born last spring and I haven’t yet had use for a pump. I much prefer to just keep my baby with me for the first year of her life. It’s more peaceful for both of us.

Hello! Was about to inform you about milk bottles… USE AVENT. it does not drip…. hence it ‘forces’ the baby to suck… which is a good thing…. also about the breast pump… let me ask my elder sister… she also passed me Avent’s steriliser.

Also about shishida…it’s about RM1.5k for 3 months…. better class/teacher is in Raja Chulan Branch.

Also… there is a product… calledBabyplus…. it’s a prenatal education system
