My Verdict:

Since using the iPhone last December, I rarely spend much time on my Dell these days. Except for those 1-2 hours updating the blog and editing photos. Other than that, I basically use the phone for every other thing — chatting on WhatsApp, surfing the internet, taking pictures/videos, listening to music, playing games and the list goes on.

My all time fave would be using the phone to catch up on all my tv series and movies — while breastfeeding! — anywhere anytime. All I have to do is load the files into my phone using iTunes and I’m good to go. I have no complains of the tiny screen as the Retina display is super clear

We bought this accessory about 2 months ago when I decided to teach Natey sign language with the help of the Signing Time! program. I already have all the volumes in my phone. So with this cable, I can connect my phone to the tv and we can all enjoy learning together on the bigger screen. Who needs a DVD player when they have an Apple

You can buy this at any Apple store or online for RM139. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Bring it along for travels and you can plug your iPhone/iPod/iPad to any available tv to enjoy all the movies you can load into your device

My Verdict:

This is what I’ve been missing sleep over the past week. It didn’t really start off with a full star verdict, but as I continued with the episodes to seasons, I got addicted.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl — definitely a mouth full title — is a British tv drama started back in 2007, based on the book below. There are 4 seasons in total, and in each there are only 8 episodes 22min each. So it’s no surprise that I finished all within a week

I wouldn’t say that this is similar to Sex in the City — critics had compared them — but definitely just as risque! As the seasons changed, the directors were also changed. Hence I reckon the improvement. I enjoyed the last season’s best!

Watching this has definitely picked my interest to read the original book. I wonder if I could get this in our bookstore since it being the true story of a whore — Belle calls herself that many many times in the drama, and prostitute.

There has been talks about a movie, so I can’t wait. And of course it WILL NOT be available in our cinemas. If it did, I wonder what would be left after the censorship board had butchered it *bah*

Coffee – The Caffeinated & Decaffeinated.

One of my biggest vices (after chocolates!) since forever is coffee. I must have at least a cuppa a day. My crazy reasons are: 1) I love the taste and 2) It’s the only hot drink I always crave for. It’s a bliss to sip one after every fulfilling meal. Don’t you agree?

My longest record — about 17 months — of sans coffee was during my entire pregnancy till after Natey started sleeping through the night. I swear by to no caffeine intake during breastfeeding. So when he sleeps through the night, I have a grace period of 6-7hrs caffeine freedom: Woohoo! But that means, I’ll be wide awake after: Boohoo!

I cannot have a hot mug of coffee in the morning because I am breastfeeding. It is always at night after Natey has gone to sleep. There was a phase where I could only sleep after 5am and really wake up a zombie (-__-)||

Last Saturday, I bought this. It tastes like coffee and it smells like coffee. I have no complains as I savoured my drug cuppa that night. Sure enough, I was tossing and turning till 3am!

In order to label coffee as Decaffeinated, its caffeine level must be reduced by no less than 97.5%

Decaf should range somewhere in between 2-4mg of caffeine per cup.

Yikes! No wonder I was wide awake. Did you know that decaf still contained caffeine? They should call it LessCaf instead! You’d think that after all these years of addiction, I’ll be immuned to its side effect of literally staring at the ceiling. It is only 2-4mg of caffeine *ftw*

Like any junkie out there, I couldn’t be stopped. I continued to enjoy my “coffee” after putting Natey to sleep as I complete the day’s chores. I call that: My Reward. After 2 days, I was immuned

I can now finally — after 2 years — have a hot mug of coffee with my breakfast every morning without the guilt. Although it still contains a tiny wee bit of caffeine, it is in a safe quantity that wouldn’t harm my son *yay*

Now where are the Birds?

I am oinking in delight! My very own Evil Green Pig, and a King no less. Am I a little old to be getting excited by a plush toy? *keke*

This beautifully crafted piggy is done by the Husband’s colleague, Justine’s Mom. Her handwork is flawless! She first started with the Red, Blue and Yellow Bird. Immediately everyone rooted for the Evil Green Pig too. Then a month ago the Husband retweeted her Angry Birds Cake. One word: Brilliant!

Tomorrow morning when Natey wakes up, I can already guess his reaction when he sees this. Everyone repeat after me: Ball, Ball, Ball

“I don’t play games” was my exact quote to the Husband a month ago, and for as long as I could remember. But, but that was before Angry Birds. Before I got an Apple in my hands too

Now I am broken-in-to by these pesky birds on a mission to save their eggs — by sling shooting themselves? Me and millions others.

I never thought I would ever be caught playing games. But here I am, Addicted. What I really never thought possible was: Paying for it. For USD.99 (RM3.04), its affordability made it too tempting not to indulge. Or play the Lite version first for free, like what I did. And get addicted, then pay *gulp*

Do you own an iPhone but hasn’t been infected yet by this Bird flu? Even our Tiger is addicted to the crazy jingle. I’m going to highly recommend getting sick on this. No prescription needed

Very soon — Rovio confirmed! — we can all rest our fingers from slinging, and use them to feed popcorns while enjoying a full-length Angry Birds movie! *woot*

Now, now there. Before you go all green with envy, let me explain that HIS is actually the husband’s appreciation gift for being such a hardworking employee birthday present from his boss. And the HERS is a 3in1 — ROM, Christmas & 3rd Wedding Anniversary — present from the husband to his beloved wife ♥

Where some ladies might prefer another bling bling — this cost more than my Brilliant Rose! — as an anniversary present, I appreciated the idea of a “Couple Phone” more when the husband suggested it few days back. A smart gadget is definitely more useful than a shiny rock, don’t you think? So Goodbye to our S312, and Hello to iPhone 4!

All I need now is a pretty case to protect my new toy and I’m all set to sink my teeth into this delicious Apple

My Verdict:
Total Episodes: 16

Loved the show! Even the busy husband took time out to watch it with me, so that makes this a full stars rating — better than Mischievous Kiss *keke*

The overall storyline is good, and the actors are brilliant. I’m giving a big applaud to Ryu Seung Ryong that played the part of Director Choi Do Bin. His facial expressions are superb. If you wonder why, then you must watch it yourself

I’m familiar with Lee Min Ho in Boys Before Flower and I didn’t quite like him as Goo Jun Pyo, but he definitely scored good points from me as Jeon Jin Ho. Although I’m not a fan yet, I don’t mind looking up his previous acts in other Kdramas now.

Son Ye Jin (Park Kae In) is also now in my list of pretty faces — even the husband says so — that I’ll want to see more

I’m highly recommending this to you. So watch it ok!

I spotted this on Viikii earlier while looking for a new Kdrama to follow. The poster caught my attention even though I’m not a Lee Min Ho fan. But if you are, then you’ve probably watched this.

Personal Taste was adapted from a 2007 novel “Gaeinui Chwihyang” by Korean American, Lee Sae In. The 16 episodes romantic comedy drama was aired on MBC earlier this March, so this means I won’t need to chase it for 2 months

Episodes 1 to 4 are now loading — btw it’s 1.21am and I should be sleeping — hopefully I’ll get to steal an hour tonight after Natey goes to bed. Can’t wait!

Synopsis
Jeon Jin Ho (Lee Min Ho) is a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become a roommate to his female friend, Park Kae In (Son Ye Jin). His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out women’s feelings.

Kae In is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However that doesn’t stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and Jin Ho is no different.

How will Kae In react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her?

Last night was the finale. I got to watch it earlier this afternoon, and I am happy with its ending. The girl got her 1st love and married him. What’s not to like about that? An every girl’s dream come true — speaking for myself — especially when he looks like this *drools*

I’m going to miss my Thursdays and Fridays swooning over Baek Seung Jo. I actually won’t mind watching it all over again just to see his handsome face. Surely even a Mommy can indulge in a little eye candy

I must say that I am really impressed with Viikii for their super efficient uploads. The show runs on MBC at 9.55pm (Wed & Thurs) and I can already watch it by noon the next day with 100% English subtitles, and many other languages too. A big round of applauds to the translators! *muaks*

I’m giving this a 5 star. If you haven’t watched Playful Kiss yet, and were a fan of Boys Before Flower last year, then you simply must not miss this.
