yikes! a dozen more days to go! are we all ready? i really really really hope that nothing too major is being left out. at moments like this, alzheimer welcomes itself without invitation…

the new year has definitely been busy. buzzing about to finalise and finish up whatever needed for the big day. weekend is a total horror – 24hrs seem like only six! but thanks be to God that almost everything is in place. even our humble nest, and especially our bedroom *winks*

fixing up our nest has been a fun but “costly” project. for the past two months, we’ve dropped close to 10k at ikea. we are so so deep in debts now. and ikea’s 24mths 0% installment scheme is a devil’s advocate! *lol* i made a promise to ben yesterday that we will not enter ikea in the next 2 months *cross fingers behind back* is there an ikea anoynomous out there?

God has been a very generous Father. i am truly truly overflowed with awe and thanksgiving. 2007 is a supernatural reality check. the many hidden blessings in disguise are uncountable. i am ashamed to recall the countless whines and bitter complains i’ve made. i was impatient, and spoilt, but He was ever loving and promising *pouts guiltily*

i’m really excited for the big day. and worried for everything and anything that would go wrong. but after typing the paragraph above, i shall trust in Him and surrender that day to our loving Father. amen

so we’ll see you there this 19.01! *pinky swear*
