Ingredients
Heinz Baby Cereal
Warm water
Breastmilk
Preparation
Mix baby cereal with warm water to achieve desired consistency. Keep EBM in warmer to be added half way through the feeding when cereal becomes cold.
Good to know: Breastmilk contains amylase, an enzyme that digests carbohydrates. When added to baby cereal, the mixture becomes thinner and thinner as you feed!
Natey’s Verdict
He was quite suspicious — see Photo 2 — on the first bite after being fed with Avocado.
Mixing only with breastmilk helped maintain the taste that he is familiar with, but that made the cereal watery too fast. So instead of having solid, it felt like I was feeding him milk on a spoon *keke*
By Day 3 of Baby Cereal, I finally gave in and use only water for the mixture. And Natey enjoyed his “solid” solid meal like a pro!
Reaction
Poo Inspection: Less watery and more sticky.
Allergy: None!
