Furminator, pt 1 – The Purchase.

As corny as its name may sound, Scubby’s latest grooming gadget supposedly does wonders. So it shouldn’t be a Wonder that it comes with a “pricey” tag too.

Furminator

I’ll let you do the maths. It’s going from USD35, and in Ringgits it would be? *1, 2, 3 fingers… gasps* It would be cheaper if bought through ebay or Amazon, but we didn’t. Impulse doesn’t go well with the wallet (-___-|||)

We got the small sized blue one last week at Ikano for RM169, with a 10% discount because it’s my *ahem* birthday month.

I know, I know… Even with the RM16.90 off, we are still spending way too much on Scubby — for a COMB. But it isn’t just any normal de-shedding tool. Like I said, it does WONDERS! Watch video below…

I admit that I am a Sucker. I watched that video and I was sold. That was probably about 2 months back, and no pet shops in Malaysia was carrying Furminator yet. So you can imagine my excitement when I saw it last week in Pet Safari while stocking up on kibbles. With the husband’s generosity, I coerced him into buying it for-me-to-use-it-on-Scubby *school girl excitement*

The instruction manual says that we should use it after bath. So this means, I have to wait till Scubby’s sutures are out and recovered — estimated next Friday — only then can I Experience its Wonders. Once I do, I’ll post a video testimony too! :)
