the melodramatic mouse attempts to blog

5 May 2009The question is, WHY NOT?
It may sound weird since it ought to be Ghosts of BF Past, but a little gender switch isn’t that hard to relate. And this header does hit a little close to home — for anyone who got struck by cupid’s arrow since four *ahem*
Only two days ago I was recalling my own experience to the husband. Definitely not a no-ending-string like Connor Mead’s — although I am not proud to admit — it is a string nonetheless. Does six-cm counts?
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past hits local cinemas next month. If the title sounds familiar, that’s because it ain’t Christmas yet but screenwriters Lucas and Moore thought it’d be nice to give us a warm up of a summer version.
As predicted in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol — a past, present and future — we’d expect to see Connor’s (Matthew McConaughey) comedic struggle to win the love of Jenny Perotti (Jennifer Garner) in this romantic setup. And he definitely will *yawns* *LOL* That’s why I’m always game for the Happily-Ever-After, or more preferably known as Chick-Flicks by the boys *smug*
So will you watch it even though the anticipated ending?
The husband always say and I quote, “It’s not about the outcome, but the journey”. I hope he remembers these words when I bulldoze him to the cinema next month *evil laugh*
Btw, as for my less-than-10cm string — let’s just say it may not be long enough to trip me over, but it leads to a haunted closet no less *shivers*
