Four days before the year ended, I woke up with a stiff neck. Today, four days after the New Year had started; the stiffness is still here to haunt me *sobs* Even an-also-painful experience at the chiropractic and acupuncture didn’t help, much.

I wonder if this is how my 2009 would be.

Or, it is really time to admit that the big Three-Oh is not far away, and behind those two numbers, mock the word o-l-d! *gasps*

I’ve just applied the last two pieces of Salonpas, and took a painkiller to sooth the headache my neck is giving me. I know this temporary relief is not going to help me indefinitely. The pain will sure to return in a short few hours…

I hope this would not be my final fate this year. I’m counting my blessings as the bull draws near and mello’s tail waves goodbye.

So, will it be a good year for us Monkeys?
