i had my first experience being away from home for cny this year. being my kiasu-self, i “convinced” my dutiful husband to begin the journey at 3am after our reunion dinner with my parents. my excuse: better to be stuck in the jam at 3am than 3pm *bleh* and so we reached safely in taiping minutes before 7am. AMEN! on the sideline, should i also confess that i watched my very first football match this cny? from start to finish! without yawning! and they didn’t even score! boooo! chelsea – liverpool. nil – nil.
