the melodramatic mouse attempts to blog
Do you remember your favourite Nursery Rhymes when you were a little boy or girl? A tune we can sing over and over again without ever getting bored. Even till this day, I sometimes find myself humming and singing along to those timeless classic rhymes. And the husband finds his wife ever so cute *winks*
Isn’t this book cover pretty?

Children book covers are always so beautiful. I simply love the water colour illustrations — they make the pictures look so delicate like a baby’s touch. I wished now that I’ve taken better care of my collections. Unfortunately none survived the years, abuse (by my doodles) and house moving *pouts*
LBJ has turned 21 weeks! And according to studies, he can now hears us and recognises my voice. We are encouraged to read and sing to him, which he would remember after birth. So finally my squeaky voice will come in handy!
Since last night, I’ve been singing to LBJ the handful that I can remember: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Itsy Bitsy Spider, I’m a Little Teapot, Goosey Goosey Gander, Rock-a-bye Baby, etc. I wonder which would be his favourite. His Daddy has promised to learn the guitar chords so he can play for his precious son ♥
Looks like our next shopping adventure after my last weekend’s maternity wear hunt would be to the bookstore. I’m also thinking of getting a Baby Cot Musical Mobile.
OMG! I’m going to be a Mom in 4 months!!
Here’s another pretty illustration

Was at MPH last Saturday looking at storybooks to read to LBJ, but didn’t buy any yet since the sales is starting soon. Saw Peter Rabbit but didn’t pick it up, will do so the next time! Love those thick pages book, can last longer ya? hehe. Looks like this coming sales will need to stock up whatever we need. I can already see the RM flying out the windows. Perhaps a money printing machine would be handy?

Advise is no need to buy those new books… if you can find second hand books from the net… do get it… cheaper…. and also kids being kids… they may move on to another book quick/be a piccaso/reorganise the pages of the book…. you know what I mean

I’m only planning to get 1-2 books! Since babies love repetition, he’ll probably ask me to read the same story over and over again until I recite it in my sleep *LOL* I’ve been singing the same nursery rhymes (about a dozen or so), I fall asleep and wake up singing them in my head
