They all told me the labour beds are reclinable. My doctor was probably just pulling my leg, I guess. Yes, I should be able to decide how I want to deliver....even WHO states so! And I told him I don't mind being undignified if it'll spare me an ounce of pain, esp the tearing part! But I did give myself an option of staying upright if I'm too exhausted in that position.
