Our Tiger boy has officially turned Two. Although it is a happy and thankful celebration, I can’t help but to feel heavy hearted to see my once bundle of joy now an active giggly chatterbox. When asked how old are you, Nate will grin proudly and say: “I am 2 years old”. My firstborn is now a little man and no more a baby *sniffs*

We had a simpler celebration on Thursday, the actual birth date. We met up with the husband — my parents joined us — for lunch at Pavilion’s Duck King Express and I bought a mini cheese cake for the birthday boy to put his Number 2 candle. This time he enjoyed it more without a crowd staring like last Sunday at his party

Since Christmas, Nate has understood the concept of presents and by unwrapping them, he will find something that he likes inside. Everyday since his party, he has chanted “Open Presents loh” and Mommy will say wait for your birthday ok. So you can imagine his joy when he is finally given the green light to open each and every one

From the making, the party to the actual birthday itself has been a fun and memorable experience this year albeit being a tad bit tiring for my very pregnant self. It’s gonna be double effort next year when LBT gets her own party as well. And it’s only a month or so a part. Daddy is gonna faint DIY-ing *keke*

We’ll be “partying” back-to-back when November comes with Daddy’s birthday, then Christmas, New Year and our 5th anniversary, followed by Chinese New Year, Nate’s 3rd birthday, a break in between then Mommy’s and LBT’s 1st birthday *waah*

It’s gonna be fun times ahead for the Tiger boy and Dragon girl
