My first experience began last Thursday night. I didn’t understand the pain then, but it was enough to let me know that IT was intending to stay. It lasted for 6 hours.

I have not slept on my back since then. Now I have a fortress of 6 pillows and 2 bolsters to help make sleep — in a sitting down position — a little bit more tolerable. If you’re wondering, the husband is in the guest room.

As I am typing now, the heartburn has returned. Although not as forceful as yesterday, it is nonetheless painful…

Started to take Low Fat Milk — about 500ml — throughout the night to curb the hunger pangs and heartburn. So far it has worked! *fingers crossed*

Dr Tan suggested for me to take hardboiled eggs instead of milk, as it stays longer in the stomach and is less fattening.

Since taking milk for the past 2 months plus, I have gained 8kg instead of the optimum 5-6kg
