15 Dec 2009Literally, I am boiling at times especially my palms. I hadn’t measure my current increased body temperature, but if I did, I would probably be having a fever *sizzles*
A few weeks ago, I was enjoying the cooler weather from the daily downpour. But since 2 weeks back, the rain has stopped and the heat is overbearing *sweats*
If you’re suggesting that I go bare, unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. I’m not really hot because of the weather, but this little life growing inside me is contributing the extra Celsius.
Increased Body Temperature
As your fetus continues to grow, he will radiate heat, causing you to feel hotter. Also, your basal metabolic rate can increase to greater than 20% of normal.
You may find that in addition to feeling overheated you may also perspire more, especially at night.
I usually leave the air conditioning on an hour before I sleep now. Then I’ll have to turn it off because sleeping with it on will only worsen my current stuffed nose. Not to mention the burning dryness in my throat from the artificial cold air.
I know I am selfish to ask for rain, especially when there are so many floods happening up North. But could I just ask for rain around my area? *bat eyelashes*
It did rain a while earlier though, but not long and heavy enough to wash away the rising heat
