I was indeed very surprised to get the above sms from Wai Han, the HypnoBirthing sifu extraordinaire I’ve read so much about. There were also 3 missed calls from her — a number I don’t recognise — before the text message was received.

I didn’t suspect at all and thought it has something to do with a comment I left on the Gentle Birthing Group Malaysia on FB regarding the previous HypnoBirthing Taster. As I was wondering aloud, the husband casually said: “That’s the anniversary present lo.” It took me a full minute to finally realised that he has quietly registered us for the upcoming HypnoBirthing class! ♥

I was expecting a new handbag *ahem* but this is definitely way better. I can’t wait for 11 Feb to come

Fullspot straps in Traffic Red

With still a week to go, I’m so happy that I got these straps in time to replace the original Pure Orange I bought last week through Groupon. It was a tough choice between this and Signal Yellow, and the husband chose red ♥

What made me even happier is when Fashion Valet agreed to give me a discount after I shared my blunder of getting a size too big — they have a no exchange policy — and how the watch is for my wedding anniversary. It may not be a lot but thank you!

This time they are a perfect fit!

I’m loving the fiery colour. Don’t you? By being both a fire sign — Aries and Sagittaurus — nothing fits more perfectly than hot. With CNY only a few days away after our anniversary, this is definitely the colour to be in

If you’re wondering, there’s no cool packaging for the straps only. They came wrapped in the white paper as shown above.

Our 4th wedding anniversary is coming up and once again I’m at lost at what to get for the husband. So when I saw this watch on Groupon, I knew it would be perfect. The design is clean and simple, definitely something the husband wouldn’t object. And the packaging is pretty cool too

Matching Surprise Within
Fullspot Oclock in a can

Oclock is originated and made in Italy. They are pretty hip in Europe and the price is quite affordable starting from €19 — about RM76 but local retail it at RM119 — for this Classic Oclock . They come in 21 eye candy colours that made deciding on one a tough choice. If I lived in Italy, I would have no qualms at them getting all *keke*

Initially I chose a pair in Water Blue and Powder, then lastly changed my mind to go for matching colours instead — time to shout “We’re a couple” statement — and went for the striking Pure Orange. We won’t missed each other in a crowd

His & Hers
♥ Finally a couple’s watch ♥

Don’t they look delicious? Sadly his is too big. I bought this for hubby as a surprise, so I had to measure few of his watches quietly for the sizing. Even after being extra careful, I still got it wrong. There’s a no return policy for accessories — the drawback of buying online — so we’re stuck with a loose unadjustable strap *sigh*

Although the husband didn’t mind, I still feel bad that it’s not a good fitting. Thankfully I still got time to get another strap before the actual date *phew* Oh this means, 2 for me and 19 more to go!

Mother’s Day 2011.

Tonight the Husband played chef again to his mousey wifey — and family too — for a sequel of his successful crabbilicious cheesy crabs to celebrate my 2nd year of being a Mommy. My Mom loves crabs too, so this was a big treat for me us all with 5 crabs over 2kg. Since my Dad and Sis is not a fan, I got their share as well *crab overdose*

Besides the main dish, the Husband also wiped out his own rendition of Kam Heong Chicken. Once again, he prepared everything from start to finish – including washing the kitchen after and mopping the floors too. I am a pampered Mommy! Thank you, Mr Tan ♥

Among all the milestones that Natey has achieved to date, speaking would definitely beats everything else hands down. It is the beginning of real communication if not attempting to. I especially love it when he runs into my arms laughing and calling me all together ♥

I will never forget the first time I heard Natey says Mama and Papa at 6mo. Even though then, he was just saying the word but not calling us, it was heartwarming nonetheless. Today, he calls me not just Mama but Mimi (his favourite) and Mommy. And the Husband: There-dy

I would say that Natey’s most favourite words — besides keep calling out Mimi — these days are Car and Ball. He’ll crawl to the edge of the bed and sit by the window to stare down at the incoming cars. Or points to just about anything round shaped and calls it Ball. Three months back it was Guitar, and that would be the first word you’ll hear him say when he wakes up

I’m betting my cheese that a week or so later, it’ll probably be some other fancy new word he picked up from us. The sky’s the limit — especially when he learns new words and sound so quickly. We really have to watch what we say around him now.

This is definitely Fun times. And we love it. Absolutely Heart It! ♥

Now where are the Birds?

I am oinking in delight! My very own Evil Green Pig, and a King no less. Am I a little old to be getting excited by a plush toy? *keke*

This beautifully crafted piggy is done by the Husband’s colleague, Justine’s Mom. Her handwork is flawless! She first started with the Red, Blue and Yellow Bird. Immediately everyone rooted for the Evil Green Pig too. Then a month ago the Husband retweeted her Angry Birds Cake. One word: Brilliant!

Tomorrow morning when Natey wakes up, I can already guess his reaction when he sees this. Everyone repeat after me: Ball, Ball, Ball

The cake is pretty, isn’t it? A fairly last minute and grab-whatever-it-is in the freezer sorta last minute cake. I shouldn’t complain because it is significantly perfect: Celebrating 31 with 31. And those candles, what a way to shout being 31. Thanks to the Husband

It’s another milestone for me this coming Monday. A big Three decades plus One milestone! I can’t believe it, can you?

The Husband has been planning a crabby cookout for his beloved Mouse a few weeks ago and finally called it done tonight. We bought the crabs fresh from the market, alive and wriggling in their captive. Natey amused himself while Daddy showed him what Cancers looked like *hehe*

From start to finish — preparation, cooking to washing up — the Husband did everything on his own. He even cracked the shells and removed the meat for me. I am loved ♥

I’m not going to be bias, but the Crabs were really good. I had 3 dinner rolls soaking up almost all the gravy. I was so full earlier, I was literally walking sideways *burps*

Thank you, Mr Tan for the wonderful dinner! It is almost perfect. What’s missing now to complete it all would be a sinful slice of chocolate cake *muaks*

After Monday, we need to go on a diet!
