i am simply inspired *heart* angie couldn’t have described it any more or any less beautiful than this. i got all warm and fuzzy earlier when I read this, and it still does, now that i am recalling it all here

God’s gift of life is truly amazing, beyond words. and to know that one day – in His time – I, too may honour this gift, leaves me all together fearful and excited. it is without a doubt and true in so many ways, that nothing completes a woman – or a marriage – without first having the joy of unwrapping His gift of life *smitten*

of course, i also don’t mind this as well

since watching the video by will.i.am – YES, WE CAN – i’ve been diligently reading barack’s speeches whenever i can at work, and watching youtube about his campaign at home. his call for hope and change is without a doubt inspiring. all the way back to this end of the world, barack hussein obama has also won my vote – yes, he can!

in my own innocent (naive?) way, i choose to believe his words and his possibility of change. when november comes, we will know what america decides. i agree that a decade and half of bushes and clinton is enough. so until then, i wish senator obama all the very best!

it is already five days into lent now – and thirty-five days more to go. this lent i’ve decided to sacrifice the dumb box *boo hoo hoo* so i would be missing my final episodes of sonria pasta, heroes, american idol, grey’s anatomy, desperate housewives, etceteras etceteras. besides this earthly vice, i’m also offering up my awful quick temper, impatience and witty sarcasms. so far i know i’ve done poorly. that’s why it is so much more important to pray more than anything during this difficult time of lent.

here are two very inspiring verses from the book of ephesians that called out to me last thursday.

“get rid of all bitterness, passion and anger. no more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort. instead, be kind and tender hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ”
Ephesians 4:31-32

“at all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one”
Ephesians 6:16

the second verse is such a comforting good news. so let’s have faith and pray. may the Lord God protect us all during this lenten season and shower us with His grace to overcome all temptations to sin against Him. amen

it was 06:14 on my night clock when i first opened my eyes, and instinctively i made a beeline to the loo as i always do. i wonder if it is the total privacy we get within these four walls that inspirations are often sparked. but then i was half asleep, so i could’ve been dreaming instead…

in the quietness and stillness of dawn, i heard myself repeated these words silently. over and over again.

“whatever i’ve asked, He has never failed to provide. and so i have faith that He will see me through this time”

as i tried to fall back to sleep, these words hummed in my head. it gave me a sense of peace and assurance that He loves me. He didn’t forget. He didn’t abandon. He will provide, in His time. my only fear was… “when is it Your time Father?”

now that i’m fully awake, my conscious mind tries to digest these words. why was it even there? i put too much sense in them that i choke its very meaning and corrupt its purity. so let’s just smile and have faith that heaven is looking down on me. everything will be okay.

thank you my Little Flower for this reminder. yes, we don’t need to know about all of life’s little questions. just know that He loves us
