What! No more McNuggets?

The final four green digital numbers totaled up for my McValue Lunch. Instead of the expected RM6.25 *wtf* For once, I was gamed to have something other than McChicken, and they’ve removed McNuggets from the RM5.95 offer.

So there you go.

I had McD for lunch. Unfortunately this time, I didn’t so much enjoy my favourite French Fries because they were overly generous on the salt. Afraid either for high BP or diabetes — free Coke refill to down the saltiness — for the first time, I didn’t finish my fries…

I have nothing against the company. Despite my b*tching posts below.

I am against the “person” who is not owning up to their mistake — a very Serious mistake. I doubt that They and many of you involved, understand the implications that may happen. If you do, spread the word! If you don’t, look out for the next newspaper headline.

To date, I Read nothing of an apology. Did “anyone” call you to apologise? *doubtful*

This is disheartening.

I bet you, in a week or two, everyone will forget. But not the people who managed to gather Our details, waiting.

And not, I.

If you are trying to access into McDonald’s /siteadmin/ to see if you can find proof, the answer is: You Won’t. Because they’ve already removed it. But who knows how many people already went in before that, and now have your home address!

Hopefully this time, their data are really really kept safe. And I’m not even a Hacker.

For those of you that did successfully go into the page last night — before it was removed — what do you think? By any chance did you export the Excel sheet too?

Is a private apology going to do away with what has happened? This is what Miss D — their messenger — is asking me to do. Remove my conflicting post below, and continue crossing my fingers that I will win the Grand Prize *wtf* You’ve already removed me from your website ok *roll eyes* >>>edit 12.44pm: Oh wow. But that’s not an acceptable excuse. Or even a respectable reason.

Because those are not your details, but Ours! Because if something happens — forgery, fraud, robbery, abduction, harassment, pranks, spam and the list goes on — it is not on you, but Us!

Get it?

So if you want to apologise, make sure it is a Public Announcement. Public meaning = Get it Published. And not over the phone, email or face-to-face type of bs.

Malaysians should be informed. Especially when their privacy is at stake by such unacceptable Carelessness.

I was furious. I was upset. I was worrisome. And I still am, all three!

Last Friday, I found out that ours — yours and mine — personal particulars were easily accessible on most search engines.

I know your full name, your race, your home address, your IC number, your mobile number, your email address and how you look like because I have your blog url.

Immediately, I informed Nuffnang because it’s their client. But no one responded up till today. My last resort earlier was to email Timothy Tiah, co-founder of Nuffnang.

Do you care? I do. But I am just myself.

Would you join my cause? Especially your particulars are also involved. Especially if you joined this competition below.

McDonald’s /siteadmin/ is not password protected. Anyone can go to “that” page with “the” url and export all the participants’ particulars — yours and mine, over 500++ — available on the page and sell it, or spam it, or send virus, or whatever.

Do you care? Because it could be your details that someone is stealing right now! Heck, anyone can come and rob you too.

Once again, do you care?

If you do, then spread the word. Cause I have the proof!

I’m furious. I am upset. I am worrisome.

Heck, I am a total mess now! Because We are not safe. Wonderful as the internet may seem to be, turn it around and it will bite.

When was the last time you entered your personal particulars — DOB, NRIC, home address, mobile number, etc — for an online contest? With the organisation allegedly promising the safe keeping of your details. You read their Privacy Terms, and believed them. Especially an established one, be it international or local bred.

But now you find your info floating and freely available to Everyone on the World Wide Web! And I’ve got proof *fumes*

I would love to write more here and get them into deep sh*t. But given the benefit of doubt, I will wait for a respond in 3 days. If none is provided, I will and you will want them in a deep pool of dung.

Because this involves us Nuffnangers — especially if you joined “that” contest too! *boils*

Good Times, Great Taste at RM5.95

I’ve not heard this jingle since I was in my dark blue pinafore & ponytail. And it has been A WHILE! Say some twenty odd years *wipe dusts over shoulders* but I can still remember it as though it was today

This definitely brings back fond memories of a mischievous childhood. I used to sing along whenever the advertisement is on — the beauty of childhood innocence — and even danced along to the Good Time Step on the staircase *bleh*

After all these years, my favourite is still their timeless signature McChicken. And nothing beats a McDonald’s fresh-from-the-fryer French Fries. I can munch 2 large order anytime! Sprinkle some black pepper on it and dip it with ketchup — I’m Lovin’ It *yums*

So what is your Mc-Favourite?
