Next week is all about the babies. But not mine, unfortunately *bleh*

Tuesday evening is a Baby Shower for mothers-to-be: Roberta Guimaraes and her friend, Joselyn Vargas — both having boys! And Saturday night is the Full Moon of baby boy, Christian Gabriel Koh.

Since I received the invitation for Roberta’s baby shower last Wednesday, I’ve not stop fussing over what to get. I wanted to get her something originated from this side of the world. So when she goes back to Brazil next year, that would be a memorable keepsake for herself and her firstborn.

Baby sling made of Kain Batik was what first came to mind. A big thanks to my Sister for hunting it for me *muaks* But now with more research done, it seems like it is not very local after all…

So now I am at all lost. I found two local brands that make this trendy sling. Hotmama Pouch has more options in colours but I’m too last minute now to sew up an order. And thankfully, Littlepods is available at SS2 Babyland. If all else fails, I should be able to find a good substitute at Babyland itself.

As for baby Christian, what would he fancy? His proud Mommy would have probably gotten every single “cool” baby gadget since Kiersten. Another sincere headache awaits…
