the melodramatic mouse attempts to blog

2 Jul 2008Better late – make that four years – than never, said the husband. And indeed it was *heart*
Last Sunday, we finally went for a date with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Kee Bakels conducted the scores from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, and I LOVED it! I can’t wait to go for our next, next and many more soon. There’s a few pretty interesting ones coming up in the coming months, but unfortunately, bookings are only open now for members *pouts*

So it took us four years to go for our first orchestra, but tonight, we’re going for our first broadway musical! And that didn’t even take a day’s wait – ok maybe technically.
I got myself two free tickets yesterday – I promised not to tell how – for Beauty & the Beast’s Broadway Musical at KL Convention Centre *jumping for joy* I was so excited last night, I couldn’t sleep. Mind you, I’m still very much a *ahem* small girl. And I think the seats are pretty great too. How far off is row N43 & 44? But it doesn’t matter, I am too overjoyed to care
If I don’t get caught taking pictures, I’ll post one up here (^___^)

(edit 4.7.08) Ok this is the best I could do. I regret not capturing the ending where all the actors came out to bow.
