The photo and title explained it all

I should be 2-3 weeks into my pregnancy now. We’ve set an appointment with an OBGYN at Gleneagles Intan for my 1st check up this coming July 17th. No earlier dates are available — Dr Woo is fully booked — so I hope she is really “that” good! Thanks to Hui Yee for recommending *hugs*

I’ve been experiencing a series of mild morning sickness for the past week although my period is not due yet. But actually, I had an inkling even earlier than that!

Finally on Thursday night, we went out to buy our first ever home pregnancy test at Guardian Pharmacy. I insisted on a double pack to be extra safe, and the husband picked the UK brand to be extra extra safe *bleh*

I did the 1st test as early as 5.55am on Friday morning. The husband was definitely more excited than me! *LOL* An hour later, I did a 2nd test just to be extra sure. But even to that extent, our parents were not convinced. Right after dinner, we did our 3rd test — this time an ultrasound — and Dr Suppiah is very happy to announce that the embryo is about 5mm in size!

We are truly thankful for being blessed with this gift of life. It is an amazing feeling to know that I would soon have another set of heartbeat beating alongside my very own. I’m not discounting the fact that I feel fear too. Nothing else in this world is more important now than this tiny life, and I will guard him/her with all my life!

We will be having a March baby next year. Boy or Girl, it does not matter. But a Healthy bundle of joy! *Amen*

And we will make it for Mother’s and Father’s Day next year too! ♥
