Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.

In just half a day, my mailbox could already be filled with at least 10 – 15 Fwds. They are often jokes, inspiring stories, someone needs money so please fwd to your friends, daily dose of whatnot, and occasionally warning emails of “actual” experiences *hmmm*

I’m not sure about you, but 9 out of 10 times, I just select all — after deciding if the subject is worth clicking into — and press Delete.

Here is one warning example that I’ve just received. It survived my trashbin and I’m glad it did — although I think I’ve read something similar before.

Let’s summarise.

Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

A harmless lady was pulled over by a policeman at a secluded spot while on her way to work.

He asked for her IC, and later asked her to get down from the car so he can check the car boot.

Suspicious — definitely a good gut instinct! — she immediately called her colleague and had him on the phone the whole time.

When she asked for the policeman’s ID, he screamed saying he has the rights to stop her car.

But does he?

Do we know Our Rights when stopped by a police officer?

Thank God nothing happened to her at the end. But given the situation — being defenseless and alone — anything could have happened! Could we really tell from a Real Cop and Fake Cop? A real police ID from a fake one?

Ladies, and even Gents, please take extra caution. The world is no longer what it used to be. There’s a very thin line stretching across from being paranoid and taking precaution. Either way, to be safe is better than gambling with chances. Anytime!
